I take it this is your first Christmas working for McDonalds? Else you would have known that you have to book time off through ourlounge. I know it's requested time off, but it's a religious holiday... they would have to give you it off if you said it was for religious reasons.

yeah I work at Denny's and those are the only days we don't get off. be happy your getting paid time and a half. once u get ur check. it'll be worth it so suck it up. welcome to adult hood

That's life. I do it every year and don't complain. I'm just thankful to have a job. If it bothers you that much, why didn't you ask for the days off or switch with someone?
