Who said anything about choosing for her? My issue is that guys automatically want to fix the problem in such a way that they have 0 responsibilities, so they automatically go for the abortion. If they had thought before, they would have used protection. It's both peoples responsibilities, not just the womans.

Sorry but I disagree. Abortion is never an option? So every woman who gets pregnant should have the child? WTF kind of archaic thinking is that! If you follow that reasoning then every sperm is sacred and any masturbation would be the killing of potential life's. So what about if the girl is under aged and are pressured into sex and get pregnant? Should they be forced to have the child just because they were not strong enough to say no? And Rape victims. Again, should they be forced to carry the child to term just because you say that abortion is not an option? Woman fought for many many years to have rights. Don't go taking them away just because you have some idea in your head about the little peanuts in woman's belly being this sacred little life.

I know plenty of examples of women who should've had abortions. Prior to 8 weeks, I have no problem with abortions, its the late term ones that need to be outlawed. A lot of girls are not able to take care of a child, and adoption is not always an option, especially since our orphanages are so over crowded. An just because someone gets pregnant does not mean that a child is born. only 60 percent of all pregnancies become viable. Most women at one point or another will have a natural abortion without even knowing that they were pregnant. Just because you are old enough to spread your legs does not make you mature or responsible enough to raise a child- which just puts the burden on the rest of society and is unfair for the child that will be born.

luckily they are completely banned, even for medical reasons after so many weeks, I cant remember the exact weeks I'm afraid. It has also been proven by scientist that a feotus cannot feel pain until a certain stage which I believe is sometime in the second trimester. Im not saying that that should make abortions a thought free choice but for those of us who feel its the only option then maybe they can take some small peice of comfort knowing there will be no pain for the feotus.

218... Your argument is bullshit. A women can have an abortion up till 24 weeks it's called a "late-term abortion" 24 weeks in case you don't know is 6 months which is almost the third trimester. You're saying the fetus can't feel anything up till the second trimester which I think is correct but yet women go and have late term abortions.. I've seen a documentary called "silent screams" you can actually see the fetus pushing away from the vacuum they use to suck the poor thing out of the women. That to me is ****** up, that baby didn't asked to be killed. (The one in the film.) had she been raped then yes, go right ahead I had to take plan b when I was raped. but she I don't think was raped. her ex boyfriend is just an asshole like MOST men are. that's all I have to say.

@ 279 Don't believe everything you see on tv mate :P And those late term abortions are only allowed in the US (and canada? Not sure about canada) In most European country's its 20 weeks. And baby's aren't capable of living on their own untill about week 34, in rare cases they were in week 30 or something, but that's rare. So that could sort of say that they aren't really 'alive' yet in week 22 or something..
