Mistaken identity

Today, I was babysitting for a friend who develops software. After the baby was asleep, I was watching anime on my iPad. Turns out he created an app that alerts his phone whenever potential adult content streams through his internet. It was just an anime, but he's convinced I was watching porn. FML

All you have to do is prove it to him. Play for him what you were watching and wait for him to be alerted. Unless you WERE watching ****, it’ll clear your name just fine.

I'm with your friend. Alphonse Elric is one sexy bastard when his soul is bonded to the suit of armor.

Even if you were watching ****, it's your own device and the kid was in bed. So it's your business anyway, not his.

I do not want my babysitter masturbating on the job. If it's like a week long thing I'd understand, but if it's just a few hours or one night it's pretty disturbing.

(1) Anime **** is still ****. (2) It’s not smart even if the kids are asleep to watch **** of any kind on the job. It tends to be engrossing and you could wind up missing the fact that the child is either doing something unsupervised that is a problem or they could sneak up behind you and catch you with your hand on your private parts. (3) Ever hear of Nanny Cams? Monitoring your internet access is not the only way of a parent monitoring a babysitter.

They weren't watching anime ****, just anime.

I’m just curious as to how he has it set up to screen adult content. If we’re going by domain names it’s pretty easy to have an adult domain, if we’re going off of server IPs where shows are launched from to stream on your device then that’s easily ruined by major server hosting many different companies videos. To be honest I don’t think you even need to be a software tech guy to have a service that shows you where people on your internet visit, it’s a feature on many routers and gateways. However he should know exactly what you were visiting even if he designed his own software, so either he does and he’s ******* with you, or he doesn’t and he’s ******* with you. The last option is he’s bad at his job and has a notification pop up because of a terribly dumb reason. Either call him out and get this settled or stop being his friend, a joke only is a joke for so long.

I’m pretty sure someone tech savvy enough to develop software for a living that put content monitoring on his home network can see exactly what you’re watching so he’s just giving you a hard time

That's why one turns off the wifi and uses their data connection and a VPN.
