Mob rule

Today, during family therapy, the therapist asked if I believe I'm a good parent/husband. When I said yes, my two sons, my daughter, and even my wife very passionately disagreed. FML

Hey, that's why you're there. Just remember that.

I guess now you know you have some things to work on... that's not a bad thing. It's all about communication at this point. I wish you the best though OP.

A very nonjudgmental and gentle YDI OP, because my dad is the same way, he means well but did more harm than good. But chin up, that's why you're there so make the best of it okay?

Ungrateful *****. They should remember what you have done for them

Which is...? For all we know OP contributes absolutely nothing.

How do you know OP is a good dad? If his entire family disagrees he probably has a bit of stuff to work on.

Use the theropy to learn and improve. There has to be an issue the fact y'all are there in the first place? Maybe you can't see it but listen to what they have to say and let the therapist help you and your family to the best solutions. Big ups to you and your family for working on any issues there may be. Be proud of what you have done well and be even prouder on the things you can change to improve.

Well, there's a reason you're all in therapy...

Michael from GTA5 is that you?

Well maybe with this they will soon agree

Sometimes the truth hurts. But would you have preferred they lied to you and swallowed their feelings?
