I could see my aunt telling her son to break up with his girlfriend, just because she doesn't like her :) YDI there must have been some reason, either the mom thinks your a bitch, or your ex doesn't like you no more

In retrospect, you should be glad you're not with him anymore-- if he broke up with you because his MOM told him to, that's a little ridiculous. Do you REALLY want to be with someone like that?
