Why are there so many parents hiding prescription meds from their kids? I know people can get addicted(one of my many aunts are), but it just doesn't make sense to not let someone learn how to do it responsibly and take small amounts over time instead of giant amounts at one time because of pain.

Hope you finally got your meds OP! My mum would never dare to hide my medication from me. Hopefully things have improved for you in the last four years.

As having two spinal surgeries to help my scoliosis, I can understand the pain. I just got angry for you just hearing this.
