My little friends

By Annonymous - 18/10/2012 14:41 - United States

Today, an exterminator sprayed for cockroaches in my dorm room. After classes I got back to find three large cockroaches on top of my bed. Now that the exterminator has sprayed everything, all the cockroaches are coming out. FML

Hey, it's 2012, lady! You can't expect cockroaches to stay in the closet forever.

Those little buggers are resilient as hell. Have fun playing whack-a-roach!

In the mean time, place glue traps along your baseboards and under your bed.

Cockroaches are the only thing able to last an nuclear war and you expect them to be killed by bug spray. Oh and twinkles can too.

Actually, scorpions are more resistant to radiation than cockroaches

There are many bugs that are more resistant to radiation than cockroaches. Myth Busters tested it!

57 - Whether or not they live underground, they are EXTREMELY resistant to direct radioactive blasts. A decent winteresque drop in temperature on the other hand will wipe them out.

That's what the spray is supposed to do dear. They're all coming out to die.

No they're just coming out for revenge on the Op.

But don't start a roach eating competition

I'm pretty sure a roach eating competition was the first thing on OP's mind.

(Bring 'em out, bring 'em out) Aye! Yeah, those sprays get them scurrying around trying to escape death! Well worth it! Don't worry, they'll dead soon enough if the exterminator did it correctly. :P

Eck! I have a phobia of the flying beast! Dead, alive, they all freak me out to the point of tears! The only bright side, OP, chances are those roaches will be dead before too long and your roach issue will be solved; for a little while!

Actually the smart ones are on his bed. They don't spray where the human will sleep. So now he sleeps with the (smart) roaches

It's a matter if time until they evolve into super-mutant roaches that will assume control over EVERYTHING. If, that is, you believe in evolution...

Don't do it, Doc. It's not worth it! ...on a related note, I thought roaches were one of the few examples (I believe the croc/alligator was another) of creatures that haven't evolved much, if at all, over the course of time.

I tried to bring them out, and it clearly didn't work. Damn.

Shouldn't schools take care of stuff like this over the summer when there's not as many people on campus.... I'd be kind of pissed if that happened to me. Sorry op :/

I'll bury those cockaroaches (scarface voice)
