Today, it's the 3-month anniversary marking the day two friends and I shaved our heads as a show of solidarity for a friend starting chemo. Her prognosis is good and her hair only thinned slightly. We, on the other hand, look like a motley crew of lesbian biker chicks. FML

OP, be happy that your friend is doing better than expected. *It seems that everywhere you look, more and more people have cancer, now a days. My mother has breast cancer and is going to start chemotherapy next week. Count your lucky stars if you're healthy!

You should Harley be upset about it. It was the thought that counted when you chopper hair off. You truly have a heart of Gold-wing. Now that her chemotorcycle is over, your friend will ride on knowing she has great friends that support her like training wheels.

That's FML ? Puleeezzze ! I am a 16 year Breast Cancer Survivor. I lost all my hair and had to deal with it. If my BEST FRIEND ever got Cancer and lost her hair I would be DAMN PROUD to shave my head and be bald again for her ! So Suck it up princess ! no sympathy here,.

That's ok op.. It's a very noble thing you did and your friend is going to be ok (most likely) you should be ecstatic not whining.. Your hair will grow back..
