thats sad, but the only thing is that your son is 14 YEARS OLD!! he doesnt care!! but thats sad that the bird died but still, i really dont think this is going to affect your son in any way.
It's actually just a really common misconception that a mother bird won't take back its baby if a human touched it. You could pick it up and plop it back into its nest and the mother wouldn't know any better. Birds have terrible sense of smell, Great Horned Owls will kill and even eat skunks. But yea, F the bird's life.
Coming from the same person who threw a rock at a homeless man, I wouldn't really expect this comment.
Aww! That's sad.
Um, if this were legit, the sparrow would probably be running AWAY from you... wild animals don't typically see humans as "protection." They shouldn't, either.
Aww poor sparrow! At least you tried helping it! I guess it got scared of you and your son and jumped to its own death. I saved a mouse from my cat's mouth years ago, only to have the mouse bite my hand afterwards once I rescued it. Anyhow, animals never seek protection in humans..they fear they would attack them as well, seeing as they are much taller and bigger.
this reminded me of national geographic channel owww yeahhh owww
