Maybe they have grandchild issues? I'm sorry OP, hopefully they'll come around once you deliver the baby.
More like grandparent issues lol. Might not have realized they had grown old yet. OP- they're Prob worried they'll be stuck raising the kid or You still lives at home. Happens to grandparents all the time. Unfit or lazy mothers can be any age. Parents think their job is done only to be stuck with raising another kid late in life that they may no longer be equipped financially physically or emotionally. Could be lousy baby daddy issues if they don't approve him. Or simply thought OP was smarter about birth control. Prove them wrong OP raise the baby on your own and be happy.
Stick up for yourself.
My sister's inlaws freaked and had the same reactions, yelling and screaming. They are used to controlling their only son's every move so this was them actually reacting to losing their dictatorship. They did that even with the second and third pregnancy. They never imagined having more than 1 grandchild since they never had more than 1 child.
you don't need them then..
Are they like ultra conservative to the point where they disapprove of you ever having sex?
Please, liberals are more likely to disapprove of their kids successfully breeding.
what the ****? you need to get them mental health assistance.
Congrats on the baby, OP! You sound like you're at a really good place in your life. Don't let them rain on your parade!
so what's the issue? druggie, still live at home, hubby a POS, were you a nun a week before...?
the question on my mind is. whats the husband like, is he abusive, does he not work, something like that, because with what you've posted, logic would say they should be happy

you're pretty much the definition of stability, why would they be upset about this? congrats on your baby, I'm happy for you.
Congratulations! Don't let your parents get you down. (:
