Today, is the start of the third month that I prayed I would be fired, just so I didn't have to quit because I hate awkward conversations. FML

You should really quit OP, not only will you not be stuck in a job you don't want anymore but it will look better for future employers if you quit rather than get dismissed.

Well think about it. If you had quit three months ago, that "awkward conversation" would have been long forgotten, out of hindsight by now. It's best to just get it over and done with, because sooner or later you and your boss will have forgotten about it.

Some advice. Try something from the following: 1) getting drunk at work 2) sleeping at work 3) not coming to work 4) playing RPG at work ... And it doesn't involve speaking at all. You're welcome!

Perhaps one day your prayers will be answered. In the meantime try to line up another job, once you accept the new job, you can give notice to your current job, shouldn't be awkward at that point, people do y his ass 'll of the time. Best of luck to you.
