Not respected anymore

Today, as a respected artist, I was running a workshop with a bunch of rowdy college kids. I was in the middle of demonstrating a painting technique when I accidentally washed my paintbrush in my coffee instead of my paint water. They waited until I then drank from it to burst out in hysterics. FML

YDI, there isn't a person in the world that wouldn't wait and watch that happen

If they were being graded for it I would have failed all of them...

Hahaha! FYL, but this is funny. I would do the same thing if I where there. Just sit and wait. Now stop crying like a baby and get over it.

Just a question. If you dipped your brush in your coffee, wouldn't you have noticed the coffee like color whatever paint you were using was tainted?

#23 One would think he would have noticed when he dipped the brush in the coffee first!

Haha, most schools make a rule that you can't have food or beverage in art rooms or labs anyways. Don't you think they make rules like that for a reason?

Not all schools, and instructors sometimes get a pass on that anyway

It's pretty clear that nobody here is an artist. Washing your brush in the wrong cup happens ALL THE TIME TO EVERY ARTIST I KNOW. If those kids were art students, they should have known it too. Also, he could have been switching brushes, thus he would not have seen the brown liquid.

That's not really an FML. Especially if you're an artist, you should know. Shit happens.

Nobody here is an artist? You're pretty quick to jump to that conclusion. Some people just know better than to put a beverage cup anywhere near a paint water cup... or better yet, not using a cup for your beverage...

#26 Why is the OP a male? And I agree with #28
