Oh dear

Today, I hit a dead deer that had been left in the middle of the road. My car started to make a funny noise and smell, so I pulled over to check it, thinking I blew the tire on some antlers. The deer had got stuck in my front wheel, and I'd dragged it more than a mile. And it wasn't actually dead. FML

That poor animal! My goodness, I hope you put that deer out of it's misery. I hope it didn't scar you too badly, I'd be a wreck if that happened to me! I can't even drive by roadkill without shuddering, feeling nauseous, and getting goosebumps ]:

Why would you hit an animal someone else has already left in a roadway and not even bother to stop? That's the exact reason it was there for you to hit in the first place, and unless you were driving an 18 wheeler, there's really no way you could possibly miss that one side of your vehicle was dragging a 400+ pound animal. Hitting the injured animal could be a simple accident, but not stopping is absolutely your own fault.

He's close - check the wikipedia page for the white tailed deer. In rare cases bucks in excess of 375 pounds (159kg) have been recorded. OP someone mentioned checking your mirror. How'd you not notice unless it was at night? Something about this FML doesn't seem right. Could OP really be THAT stupid? Also, wouldn't the impact shatter the antlers?

I seriously laughed when I read this FML, but I can't help but feel sorry for the deer you hit, OP. You deserve no sympathy, but the deer certainly does. :(

Following your logic, women are not men. Stop saying we should give them rights. That argument is wrong because there's no reason why not being a female means that your suffering is irrelevant. In the same way, there's no reason why membership in a species other than **** sapiens should automatically deprive a sentient being of the right to be treated humanely.

Well under your logic, as long as humans are treated/slaughtered humanely it would be ok to eat them? There are reasons animals are treated differently than humans. Comparing different sexes to different species is a bit of a longshot as well.
