Today, I hit a dead deer that had been left in the middle of the road. My car started to make a funny noise and smell, so I pulled over to check it, thinking I blew the tire on some antlers. The deer had got stuck in my front wheel, and I'd dragged it more than a mile. And it wasn't actually dead. FML

Today, I crashed my car. I saw a deer getting ready to run into the middle of the road, and I was very sleepy, so I panicked and slammed on the brakes, causing me to lose control of the car on the wet road. After I hit a tree, I realized that the deer was a plastic lawn ornament. FML

Today, while driving out to the countryside with my new boyfriend, we came across a deer lying in the road. It seemed badly hurt, but instead of letting me get out and make sure, my boyfriend decided to just run over its head to finish it off, then continued driving with a smirk on his face. FML

Today, at 4:30 a.m., I hit a deer on the freeway on my way to work. I've only had this car for 6 months and it's totaled. I had to wait hours for a tow. On his way to pick me up, my husband's radiator blew and his serpentine belt shredded. I also missed a day of work. FML

Today, I volunteered to go get ice cream if I could use my mother's car. She told me to be VERY careful. Not ten minutes later, I hit a deer, which got up and walked off as though nothing had happened. FML

Today, I was on a drive with my uncle. We saw a dead deer on the side of the road and expressed our pity for it. Then a squirrel runs across the road and my uncle swerves toward the squirrel, laughing hysterically and yelling, "Run rodent run." FML

How did you have a deer on your tire for a mile? Is that like even possible? Why would you run over an animal that big? Surely you would've had time to slow down. And if you didn't, why wouldn't you check your tires right after to check on your car after running over something so big. f*ck the deer's life, and f*ck you for being such a dumbass

Of all the comments I've read through this has to be the dumbest. What should op turn himself in for? Attempted deer manslaughter? I agree it is sad the deer had to suffer, but seriously op wasn't responsible for the deer laying near dead in the road.

some of these peeps should calm down. i assume it was night and if youve evrr come upon an animal at night its pretty har to avoid and personally i wouldnt swerve to miss it.. also if it was laying in the road its a safe assumption its dead so dont say "oh poor thing check on it"... true fault lies in the dumbass deer for laying in the damn road

Yeah, dumbass deer. Ever since they lost their road maps their population dwindled. I mean there's probably a SIGN is right there, why can't the deer read it? Honestly, deer these days are so stupid.
