Panic! At the high tea

Today, while researching tea etiquette for Sunday's tea, I read, "To put milk in your tea before sugar is to cross the path of love, perhaps never to marry." I suddenly panicked that this very lack of knowledge is why I haven't met a man who wants to marry me, and that I never will. I'm only 23. FML

Wow. I always put my sugar in my coffee before the milk, even before reading this. Maybe I'm a natural-born lover? Still wouldn't explain why I'm single, though.

An even better reason to do sugar first is that the higher the temperature of the tea, the better the sugar will dissolve. Milk will cool it down a bit.

Don't worry OP I bet you will find the perfect man at the perfect time

23 isnt so old to be worried about some man complicating your life lol. Tea won't curse you and you don't 'need' a man to be 'happy', personally...dogs are a lot easier and easier to live with!

I usually put milk in first....guess that's why I like being single

I put milk in and no sugar in my tea. Good, because I don't want to get married. Ever. I have yet to even experience true love.

As far as I can remember, I always put the sugar in first. I have already decided that I will never marry, or possibly even date.

If and when I use milk (or creamer) in anything I ALWAYS put it in first. I've been with my husband six years...

It's not the milk/tea/sugar that's keeping you from having a man/husband ... It's your belief in stupid superstitious B.S. like this.

ydi for believing that load of bullshit

I don't think you have to worry. :)
