haha, i have pink staples.
Lol, I have purple staples. And blue ones. :} As long as the criticism was constructive, then you shouldn't worry. Sometimes it's hard to focus on the good of something for some people. Next time, maybe try to switch papers with someone that might be more at your level? That way, the person won't have only negative things to say, because they're more at your level of writing.
I hate peer review, peers don't even know grading criteria. This person must have been jealous and might jack your ideas.
@16: I think it depends on your teacher. I've had some who just didn't give a shit but then one or two who gave it almost as many points as the paper. I didn't know they had colored staples. :O Anyway, I would rather have a paper filled with things that could be fixed than something that someone didn't really try with correcting. It's depressing, yes, but it generally leads to a better paper.
Blue staples are awesome...forget grades, you stand out from the rest of the sheep using simple metallic staples...way to go!
Yeah I agree with everyone else for the most part... When I edit papers for my Writing classes, I don't focus on the good parts; just what needs works. If all you received was constructive criticism, that's a good thing. But If it was "YOU SUCK AZZ!!!11!!", then FYL. But thumbs up for the blue staple;}

Colored staples are awesome. However, as long as whoever it was left constructive criticism, then you really have nothing to complain about. It can be hard to see something that you spent a lot of time on be unpopular, there are worse things. Not really an FML.
When I peer edit papers, I only pay attention to the things that are wrong. The purpose is to find places to make improvements. It isn't the editor's job to point out things you did well; that takes more of his or her time.
