It's annoying when kids can't take people's honest advice. I've done peer edits before on one of my best friend's papers and she started crying because I edited almost everything in it. I wasn't being rude or cruel, I wsa being honest. The paper was bad. It had mistakes that I only made in the 4th grade. Seriously. Get over yourself. If it was a bad paper, you totally deserved it. Stop being overdramatic. The person who edited your paper even tried to soften the blow by giving you at least some form of a complement. Just edit everything that was wrong with it and don't complain about your deficiencies online to complete strangers anymore. YDI.
YDI. If it was a bad paper, then edit it. Peer reviews are the best kind because people realize that they actually AREN'T perfect. If the person took the time to edit all of it, good for them for trying their best to make you get a good grade. Take the editor's advice and completely change it.
35, totally agree.
Wouldn't you rather hear it from them now than get a bad grade from your teacher?
#61: I've actually seen teachers write comments like that on people's papers (I'm a writing tutor). It's rude, but if they can't understand what you are trying to say, then they can't tell you how to make it better. Ask your teacher to look over the paper, and maybe they'll give you some constructive feedback.
You're supposed to write positive comments when you peer edit?
The same thing happened to me except he "liked the font I used". *laughs*

Colored staples are awesome. However, as long as whoever it was left constructive criticism, then you really have nothing to complain about. It can be hard to see something that you spent a lot of time on be unpopular, there are worse things. Not really an FML.
When I peer edit papers, I only pay attention to the things that are wrong. The purpose is to find places to make improvements. It isn't the editor's job to point out things you did well; that takes more of his or her time.
