Today, I swerved off the road and hit a tree in order to avoid hitting a dog that came out of nowhere. Don't worry, I didn't hit him. The person behind me did, though. FML

Today, I pulled off the road to help a turtle cross it. Before I could get out of my car a dump truck ran over the turtle, splattering my car with turtle guts and bits of shell. FML

Today, while on the road, I saw a turtle in the middle of the other lane. I slammed on my brakes and got out, holding up, and pissing off, several drivers on both sides of the highway. Getting closer to the turtle, I realized that it was not a turtle at all, but a very large pile of dog shit. FML

Today, while driving my new car, a squirrel ran in front of me so I slammed on my brakes. The person behind me didn't notice and rear-ended me. The squirrel got hit by a car going the opposite direction. FML

Today, I crashed my car. I saw a deer getting ready to run into the middle of the road, and I was very sleepy, so I panicked and slammed on the brakes, causing me to lose control of the car on the wet road. After I hit a tree, I realized that the deer was a plastic lawn ornament. FML

Today, while driving home, I swerved to avoid turning a duck and her babies into roadkill. Another car was coming around a sharp bend at the time and swerved to avoid hitting me. In the end, we both ran our cars off the road, and he took out several ducks in the process. FML

You see a turtle in the street so you swerve wayyyy out of the way and hit a tree... yeah that is definitely your fault. I saw a turtle crossing a 4 lane street. I was coming up on the turtle... know what I did? I didn't swerve way out of the way into anything. I positioned my car so that I could clearly drive over the turtle without hurting it and guess what? The turtle safely made it across the street and I didn't hit anything. Where the turtle was heading I have no idea. So ummm... yeah its your fault. Learn how to drive safely.

Let me get this straight. You swerved to avoid a turtle, therefor risking your life, causing probably thousands of dollars of damage to your car, and your sad because the person behind you hit it? I don't know who natural selection should kill off, the turtle for being in the road, or you for being an incredible idiot. Both I think.

so you missed the turtle but hit a tree... wow dumb move. Now you have a wreck car when u could've just ran over the turtle and have a perfectly good car
