Poof, gone!

Today, I found out that my parents used all of the college money I have been saving up for 8 years to buy a beach house. The reason they waited until now to tell me? A tree fell on it, and they need more money for repairs. FML

Why did your parents have access to it in the first place if it's money YOU were saving. My parents can't go into my accounts.

That is terrible. I can't believe how many stories I have read on FML about parents stealing money off their kids. Such idiotic people shouldn't be allowed to have kids!! Try seeking a legal avenue; what they've done to you will probably seriously stuff up your future career pathway unless you do something about it!

I think id sue and divorce my parents at that point in my life and then never speak to them again **** their deathbeds long story short they let a midlife crisis ruin your life and id probably decommission both their cars in the process of leaving them forever

Maybe if they didn't use all of your college money to buy a beach house and used it to send you to college you could buy them a beach house and pay for the repairs

You can sue them I think and if not you can refuse the money.
