Power washed out

Today, while power washing my deck, a bee flew and landed on my leg. Thinking I'd just wash it away before it could sting me, I aimed the power washer nozzle at the bee. A bee sting isn't nearly as painful as power washing your leg. FML

Today, a bee landed on my leg. I didn't realize it was there until my friend yelled out, "Bee!" kicked me in the leg, and ran off. I fell to the ground screaming and clutching my leg. She missed the bee and it still stung me. FML

Today, I was at a stop light and a bee landed on my leg. I screamed and started swatting it. It flew into my jacket and I started to strip my jacket off, taking my foot off the brake. I hit the car in front of me and deployed the air bag, breaking my nose. Then the bee stung me in the back. FML

Today, I accidentally stepped on a dead bee. The stinger was still intact. How do I know? It stung my foot. I'm allergic to bees. FML

Today, this huge wasp started flying around me. I freaked out and started running from it. Then I slipped, landed face-first in some dog poo, and got stung by the wasp on my leg. FML

Today, I saw a wasp on the ground, apparently injured and unable to fly. It was being mobbed by ants and looked certain to die, so I stamped on the ants to save its life. At this point it sprung up, stung me, then flew off. FML

Today, I was taking a break in my work truck when I saw a huge swarm of bees flying my way. I have a hand crank window so I started cranking it up as fast as I could and the knob snapped off before it closed and I got stung by the whole swarm before I could get out. FML

Today, I was mowing my grandma's lawn when I was suddenly swarmed by bees. When my grandma saw me covered in stings later on, she said, "Oh yeah, there are tons of bees in the grass! Be careful!" FML

Today, while mowing the lawn, I was attacked by an underground hornet nest. I now have many stings, two scared dogs, and a mower still running outside. The hornets are swarming it and some are sitting on the lever, as if to turn it off. It's like they know. FML

Today, I went to clean my roof when something buzzed by my head and a sting hit my neck. It turns out there's a small nest of, like, five hornets just chilling outside of my window. I found a dead one on the desk in my bedroom. FML

Just thought i would point something out. Its not the pressure that hurts because as soon as the water leaves the nozzel it has lost all pressure. Its the velocity of the water that hurts. Thats what someone said to me when i did the same thing to my foot.

wow. that's... yea. i hate bees though.. i may have done that without thinking like in a split second.. but if you had time to think about washing it away before it stung you then you should have thought more thoroughly. thanks for the laugh, i hope this heals quickly for you

um..yeah YDI. There've been little kids who have DIED from accidentally being power-washed! Did you honestly not think that spraying high pressure water might hurt? Seriously, let's get some brains. #32--Don't use your hair color as an excuse for being unintelligent and not having common sense. You're apparently just an idiot. You reacted better than I would. At the very sight of a bee/hornet/wasp, I let out a very girlish scream. Luckily, I am a girl. However, I have burned myself, tripped and cut myself deeply with glass, accidentally subjected myself to all sorts of clumsy foolishness, and never once screamed, only a sharp inhale. It sucks about the powerwashing (but at least that leg is clean now!). Although, I'm allergic to bee/hornet/wasp stings, and swell up when I get stung...Hope it stops hurting you soon.
