Not that this would be a common thing, or something I would suggest, but I know a couple that got engaged after a week and have been married for 17 years now, they have 5 kids, and are going strong. I myself moved in with my now husband after 2 months, we have been together for 14 years now, have a brand new baby girl, and are going strong. So fast movers may be unusual, but successful ones are not unheard of. OP sounds like he's not as far into this relationship as the girl thinks she is though, and she sounds a little needy, so I'd say fyl OP.
