Priorities, mate

Today, I hurt my arm in a scooter accident. When my dad came to pick me up, instead of taking me to the hospital like a normal dad, he took me directly home where he spent a hour shaving and taking a shower so he would "look nice" when we went to the hospital, while I clutched my arm in pain. FML

I'd give u mre respect if it was a motorcycle accident.....

That sounds like something my dad would do. and if you ride a scooter still I don't think you're old enough to be on this website...

YDI for riding a freaking scooter, lame-o.

so, when I broke my arm in 5th grade,I couldn't move my arm and no one would understand that my arm was broken. It happend at 9 in the morning, and I didn't go till 330, get over yourself

YDI for riding a scooter. And your dad was probably doing that to pick up some hot nurses.

wtf how old are you to still be riding a scooter? haha YDI, your dads subliminally teaching u a lesson dude.

hahahahahaha my mom did the same thing when I was about 10 years old. I had a fat deep cut behind my knee fron Barbed Wire and it took like 2 hours

The whole fml is one big sentence.

I fail to understand why the OP deserves it for riding a scooter. Oh no. How dare he like to ride scooters, even if he may be a teenager. The world shall surely end because he dared to have fun in a way that other people may not enjoy. He must certainly be injured and maybe killed for his sins. [/sarcasm] Anyway, I feel for ya, OP. That's the kind of crap my mom would probably pull if I wasn't bleeding to death in front of her. It's stupid and pretty irresponsible.

Oh dude, I feel your pain. Literally. I broke my arm back in 1996, and my parents made me sit and wait at home for about an hour so my step-mom could get completely "cleaned up" (i.e. curl her hair, put on makeup, choose an outfit) to take me to the hospital. Which was less than three miles away from the house. Still haven't forgiven her for that.
