Sigh. What did she expect you to do - say, "Oops, my bad" and push the kid under a truck? I mean, a toddler able to talk - probably between one and two, right? Which, if you *were* the mother, would make her rant a good two or three years too late! Pretty much a fait accompli at this point, lady... deal with it... I was pregnant at twenty (to my husband, in eminently respectable circumstances) :p and was a bit nervous about taking my wedding ring off when my fingers started to swell, in case I got dirty looks. I don't recall any, though! I'm 24 now though, and pregnant with my second - and I notice that everyone assumes this is my first pregnancy. I've had a few startled looks when I've said I have a nearly three-year-old... but nobody's been rude enough to comment, let alone swear at me!

Should've told her off. I was watching my friends little brother for a few minutes while him and his mom were off talking to somebody and a lady came up to me and told me how cute my son was, I immediately stopped her and said its not my kid and that I wasn't a 17 year old father. besides I'm a Ginger and he's blonde and looks nothing like me. 24 and still no kids, and no plans on it for at least 6 more.
