in most Us states you get workmans comp for LIFE if injured at work thru no fault of your own. talk to an attorney. but yeah your boss is a dumbass. can everyone see my iemoji app emoticans ?
You don't deserve it unless you did something to the customer first, but judging by how you wrote this; I think he was the asshole. Seriously your boss is a prick, sue his skin of his bones if you can!
in Texas and a few other states you are allowed to openly carry your GUN at work, if you dont have a concealed handgun license. of course your employer has to allow this. go into a texas gun or jewelry store and you will see what im talking about.
yeah guns fix everything don't they
You can carry it openly if your work allows it, but weapons can be banned from any business. It's up to the business owner if they are going to allow the employees to carry, the don't have to allow it as you have stated.
yeeeaaah... guns make everyone much safer. Where u dropped on your head as a baby by any chance?
Yes 45. The sane people shouldn't carry guns. Only the crazy people should, that way they can kill us all while we look "smart" for not defending ourselves. You were the one dropped on the head.
Who knows? The OP's boss may have been waiting for awhile for a good reason to fire him/her? @ the OP: I would be checking into it to see what your rights are in this situation and sue for wrongful termination if you can.....unless you're still considered a probationary employee then that sucks big time and may limit your options.
Excessive force would have been beating the guy senseless. Restraint is not excessive force.
Wouldn't there be CCTV to prove the customer started the fight and you were just defending yourself?
Sue. Sue until there is nothing left and then sue for the dust that remains behind.
Yeah youre right! if someone pushes me off a building paralyzing me i should just let that 1 slide. just turn the other cheek. oh i cant move because im paralyzed...

If the person is assaulting employees or other customers, they are no longer considered a customer.
Oh wow. That sucks. What did your boss expect? That you would let this guy beat the crap out of you and your co-worker? :S Oh those bosses these days.
