Okay, really, OP? I know a lot of parents spoil their kids but it's none of your business. Not everyone is a bad parent. Most FMLs make me laugh but this one makes me angry. YDI

I have to say I don't agree with Young children having TVs computers in their rooms or having their own phones, etc. HoWEVER I am yet to have kids, I don't know people's situations so unless they're part of my family then it's none of my buisness and if its going to aid the child/ren then it's great! Point of my story is I'd have said nothing!!
besides it not being your business, as so many have said, you are wrong about the age appropriatness of an iPad. like all tools, if used properly, it i a boon and a bonus. kids need to learn the tools they will be using, and tablets and computers are what these kids will know. even if he was not autistic, it is a great learning tool, it can help with math and reading and a million other useful skills. having a computer or ipad or even video games or tvs does not stop kids from playing outside. only bad parenting does that
I find it saddening how many people are sticking up for op.
While I understand your annoyance - people too often use electronics as babysitters for their children - you jumped the gun and looked like an asshole by not finding out the circumstances before scolding a complete stranger.
Your an asshole...
