Today, I was taking a nap. Apparently, my two year old daughter decided to crawl on top of the covers on my bed because she was scared since there was a thunderstorm. I thought she was one of our cats so I kicked her off. She hit the wall. FML

LMAO must have been a hard kick to do that and even then, why the hell would you kick a cat that hard?

I don't think your child will be crawling in your bed anymore for a while... if ever.

screw u once for wanting to kick a cute little cat in the first place, screw u twice for kicking ur kid instead.

LOL @ number 15. Yeah, she'll remember this suppressed memory when she's in therapy at 21 and wondering why she has such a fear of sleeping above the covers.

she probably kicks the cats off because they always land on their feet. i doubt she was doing it really strongly. maybe she was just on the edge of the bed and she nudged her. who knows.

Pssst, Monicamischief You keep mentioning 13 year olds fornicating themselves and menstruating while trying to explain to people why kicking a toddler into a wall is funny. Is there something we should know about you?

Hahahahahaha! The comments on this one are a riot! The Internet is SO full of stupid these days. To 595/null: Not everyone is the awesome wordsmith that you are. Most people who post to FML don't bother to SPELL correctly, let alone choose their worse with precision and care. As I've said before, I think neither "kick" nor "nudge" works well in this context. Having kicked my own cat out of bed before, the best word is "shove". I don't wind up and boot the poor thing, but to get a cat out of your bed successfully, you can't just give it a gentle tap. Cats want to stay where they are. I usually have to get my foot against her and push her until she falls off the side (sometimes she jumps first). It's not a "blow" like a drop-kick or a windup. Toddlers aren't cats. They're bigger, so they fall farther. The kid is fine. And once again, I laugh in the face of people saying they'll call CPS. What a waste of time. Save it for the cases where someone really does abuse kids, m'kay?
