Today, at the age of 29, I now have a relationship on par with a teenager's. Several weeks ago, my fiancé and I lost our home, and are now back living with our respective families. We now have no privacy. I actually just got dropped off at home, before 10, after having sex in a hay field. FML

Well.. Demand some allowance at least, and get yourself a nice motel room.

Your life sounds like a scrappy tween show.

I don't know how shitty one finances can possibly be at ******* 29yrs old, but you deserve it!! Please don't tell me you bought cars you can't afford and a monster house you can't afford!! If this is truly your relationship now, at almost 30yrs old, pretty pathetic, sorry. Most people are happily ensconced in a reasonable mortgage by that age and have at least one or two kids.

Welcome to the real world, maybe you should have a look around.

Uh, actually, no. Plenty of 29-year-olds are in school still, or are only a few years into their post-graduate life. I'm sorry, but with that sort of debt, it's easy to be financially unstable. Many people get married and start having children later on in life nowadays. I imagine you're not quite there yet, or you'd know that.

#71 Ehm, I'm not sure what kind of dreamworld you are living in, but there's all kinds of wrong with your statement. Bad things happen to good people for no reason a lot, and it's not their own fault. You are being a judgmental asshole for jumping to conclusions you know absolutely nothing about.

Are you serious? Dude...what fucken decade are you living in? The 1950's? I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not....but these days, shit ain't cheap and people are being forced into debt earlier and earlier on in their youth, especially if they want a decent college education. The fact of the matter is, at 29, you're lucky if you even HAVE the cash for a downpayment on a house these days, let alone expect to be "ensconced" in a "resonable mortage" as you so put it. To be honest, the term "resonable mortage" is a laughable idea at best....there's no such thing these days, and the fact that you are actually being a judgemental prick because these people don't have their shit together according to you shows how outdated and uninformed your mindset really is.

Awww, but it's kinda romantic... in a way.

Still a better love story than Gigli

Solidarity. We got robbed blind and had to move in with my mom because the break-ins continued after the money was gone. My boyfriend came with me, and we've spent the last month sharing a twin bed in a room with my two youngest brothers, more than 2,000 miles from the city we had previously called home. My sister turned 18 and moved out last week and now we have our own room, but I haven't had sex in over a month. It's alright. It's going to get better, and you're not the only one. Enjoy your hay fields, they're probably more fun than you think, and have fun date-dating your fiance again. I'm sorry for your loss.
