Road rage

Today, while on the road, I saw a turtle in the middle of the other lane. I slammed on my brakes and got out, holding up, and pissing off, several drivers on both sides of the highway. Getting closer to the turtle, I realized that it was not a turtle at all, but a very large pile of dog shit. FML

As some of the others, I love animals, but I would NEVER stop like that. You are an idiot and those other drivers had every right to be pissed off at you! My husband almost got into a wreck, with our daughter in the truck with him, because some dumb bitch decided to slam on her brecks for a family of ducks!

I agree with #1!!! Apart from the fact that the highway code (in Britain anyway) states that stopping/swerving to protect an animal is a danger to other road users why on Earth did you feel the need to 'slam your brakes on'!? Just slow down and stop at the side of the road like a normal ******* person! Then you also wouldn't look like an idiot with a strange fascination about feces!

Maybe because you are too dense to understand, but her whole ******* family could have been killed, because of a woman slamming on her brakes. This could also be a case of you not having a boyfriend, or ever getting one or even being smart enough and you only want to date animals but she would not want HER family to die so some ducks can live. Hello, two human beings=/= ducks.

Kudos to you for stopping. I've stopped to help animals cross and pissed people off several times. It's good to know that there are other people out there that give a shit (no pun intended). I hope this experience doesn't discourage you from doing good deeds in the future.
