A wise man once told me "Your doing to much" , I feel this applies to this situation
Huh, I always thought wise men would have better grammar.
I would advise ignoring everything that wise man says.
Everyone is a least slightly clumsy. Don't sweat it op, most will just laugh and that will be the end of it. I hope you are ok though, that sounds like a pretty heavy fall.
Anything that begins with something like, "I thought it would be cool if..." typically earns a YDI. It's only slightly less lethal than saying, "Hey, guys, watch this!"
Exactly, but this should be the exception--when you are in a band, it is your job to look cool for the crowd.
Hey, at least you tried. That's more than most people could say.
Finally a New Mexico fml
Even though it looks spontaneous, most musicians practice that stuff. You'll see the same show in Seattle as in Tulsa. That's why they don't fall off the speakers.
Tyler Joseph is that you?
This actually reminds me of something I saw last week, though I doubt OP plays for DragonForce. The keyboard player moves from behind his rig to play keytar and join the rest of the active crew up front. He did a jump off the drum platform, slipped on a towel and almost fell in the middle of a solo. Mercifully, he wasn't hurt and he didn't hit anybody. The only casualties were a few cans of beer and some bottles of water. Moves like that really have to be rehearsed and accidents can happen. Cool or not, do be careful!

"It's not my favorite song, but it's so sweet when the bassist drops." "It's 'when the bass drops'." "No, it isn't."
