uuuurgh!! i can't tell you how sorry for you i feel. you poor, poor, person. i hope you're okay. i don't like spiders. at all.
i think you exaggerated a little about landing head first...
FYL you having spiders interfere with your ride, but YDI for not using the helmet more often. If your helmet is not comfortable, then you need to adjust it so that it is comfortable. I am a regular rider(about 3 to 4 hours a week), and I always wear a helmet. I don't even notice it anymore since I have it properly adjusted. I got in a bad accident last year. I went over the handle bars and landed face first. I got a broken arm and had to get stitches on my chin. I would of had a bad scrape(probably would have needed stitches or a skin graft) on my forehead and scalp if it was not for my bike helmet.
YDI for being on a bicycle.
Good thing you wore a helmet xD
Do you make a habit of shoving your noggin into things without checking the contents? Also, as has been said already, YDI for letting spiders interfere with your ride. Hit the brakes, take the helmet off, and knock off all the spiders. Duh.
well, at least you were wearing a helmet. i mean, c'mon, a spider could have crawled on your face anyways with or without a helmet, causing you to crash head first again.

Thats my worst fear, spiders popping out of nowhere and me dying as the result.
