How much noise can two cats on a website actually be making that it's keeping you up?

pffft my cat meows through the night because she gets lonely and wants attention. almost every night. I feel for you but seriously this is worse. I love her too much to give her up though. she's just so sweet and I can't stand to think of her living her life in a cage at the shelter knowing she just wants pets and cuddles.

This might sound counterintuitive, but just act normal. (maybe turn off the furnace so you can sleep, then turn it on earlier the following day). Don't try to calm your cats down or they'll realize something is in fact actually wrong and it's panic time.

I first read this as 'turned on my fiance when I got home', and had a hilarious image pop into my head of sexy time destroyed by cats laying in/around inconvenient locations... ...not that I know what that's like from personal experience, or anything... *cough*

sounds like you have the perfect solution already, cats are better after they spend some time in a furnace anyways

Good god. how loud is your furnace??

If your furnace makes that much noise there's something wrong with it. Plus they don't run continually.
