Today, I was on my third date with a really hot girl. A guy walked by singing the Pokémon theme song. She started making fun of the guy, mocking his immaturity. I joined in, in order to keep the conversation going. Everything was going great but then my phone rang. It's the Pokémon theme song. FML

Today, I went on a date. Met the guy at the restaurant, everything seemed to be going OK, but then he spent the entire dinner talking about Pokemon GO, and wouldn't let me say a word. He suddenly stops talking, gets up, says he, "doesn't feel a connection" and leaves. I had to pay the bill. FML

Today, I went on a date with a very cute girl. It went well, until I accidentally called the blueberries in her dessert Oran Berries. I sheepishly explained that they're a berry from the Pokémon universe, at which point she excused herself, never to return. FML

Today, I thought a cute and well-dressed guy, with a mask matching his shoes, was taking a picture of me. Flattered, I approached him. Turns out, he was playing Pokémon Go and was just trying to catch a “Geodude.” He also blurted out that he was gay. He's into dudes and Geodudes. FML

Phone rule number 1: Never pick a ringtone you would EVER be embarrassed by. If she has a problem with your ringtone she'll probably have a problem with a lot of the other nerdy things you more than likely do. Imagine getting married to her, would you like suppressing all the things she things are "juvenile"? Some girl laughed at me once when she found out I had bought $100 worth of nerf items with a friend, saying I was juvenile - I told her "Damn right I'm juvenile but. . .I'll also make a damn fine father one day."

I would've changed my ringers as soon as she started making fun of it, and used the guise of setting on my airplane mode so my time would be all hers. sorry to all the other commentators but if she is hot I can be shallow and bragging rights is bragging rights.
