Today, my husband and I were fighting over money. As we were arguing, our 13 year-old daughter stole $250 dollars from my purse. FML

Show it anyway

When I was around the same age, maybe a bit younger, I took $50 out of my Mum's wallet so I could buy junkfood on a field trip. Mum found out and took me to the local copshop, they acted like it was a serious offense, took my prints, sat me down in the interrogation room, all of that. Then the detective 'convinced' my Mum to drop the charges. These days I know it was all an act but boy if it didn't scare me straight.

I definitely intend to steal* this method if a child of mine ever takes from me!

2 things learned today 1: your child is a best 2: don't carry $250 in your purse

1 more thing learned today: It's spelled, "beast."

let me guess. she wanted to use it to buy that iphone you wouldn't give her but bought as a christmas present?

I believe that she took your money due to the fact that she was making a point.

Hah! I have worst FML than urs. My 8 years old son stole my family trip fund and gave it to neighboring kids. Next thing I know, I ended up in jail on my birthday. Like this if u think this is FML.

Please try English, it's a very nice language.

Maybe you shouldn't carry that much cash on you then

So dumb how people post "what does a 13 year old need 250 dollars for anyway?" Who cares? Obviously stupid crap; that's not the point. I agree with the others that said donate the presents to some kids who aren't little brats and don't have the ability to get nice things for Christmas..

I wonder who is getting coal this year. I hope you punished your daughter.
