Today, my friend and I were driving to Florida from Michigan. While going through Ohio my car hydroplaned over a puddle on the highway. I ended up hitting the median and my car got wrecked. Not only am I stuck in Ohio with a car that won't work, I got a ticket for $300 for hitting Ohio property. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I lost control of my vehicle while driving. The car went off the road, rolled over, and ended up being totaled. The policeman asked me if I was alright and I said I was. He seemed relieved at my answer. Then he handed me a $300 ticket for failing to maintain my lane. FML

Today, I found out where my stolen car was. It was all the way in Maine. I live in Ohio and I got a $300 fine for illegal parking. FML

Today, it was nice out, so I drove with my car windows down. I was stopped trying to turn onto a busy highway, when a car turned off the highway right next to me, hit a pothole, and splashed dirty water into my window and into my open mouth. FML

Today, it was raining heavily. I saw a large puddle by the edge of the road near with a passing lady. Thinking it would be funny to splash her, I swerved to hit the puddle. The puddle was deeper than I thought. I lost control of the car, spun out, and hit two parked cars. FML

Slippery

Today, my fiancé got impatient and passed a lady doing 15 mph under the speed limit. The lady was driving slowly in case the black ice in the other lane was in both. We spun out and drove right into a guard rail. I'd just filled the tank, so now I'm down $40 and need to pay for a rental too. FML

Road safety

Today, while driving to work, some asshole stopped sharply on the 60 mph highway because he almost hit the car in front of him. Even with maintaining my distance, and slamming on the brakes, I still ruined the front end of my car on his dented bumper. I haven't even had the car for a year, and I'm still the one at fault. FML

Honestly, the fact that you got the $300 ticket and a banged-up car is irrelevant. The true FYL is that you're stranded in Ohio. I feel for you, it's not a place I would ever want to be. #21, sure, he got out of Michigan, but got stranded in OHIO. That's like getting a papercut and then having your arm severed. Sure, you no longer have to deal with the sting from the papercut, but now you've just lost an arm.

Cause we're from O-HI-O. :D YDI for not paying attention. And I'm pretty sure most states fine you for damaging guard rails, medians, etc.

#6- no population past cincinnati? really? .... i assume you come from georgia so here goes: population of Georgia: 4,630,841 population of Ohio: 11,353,140 you know what that means? ohio population= 2.45 times the georgia population you=dumbass #12- that was a really dumb thing to say. obviously you have never been to ohio. they do in fact have drive safe roads... otherwise they would not be in ohio. you can still slip on water if you are going too fast when it is raining... which this guy obviously did

that big Jesus you're refering to is where im supposed to go church with my Dad Easter Sunday, after numerous times telling him that i do not want to go to a place where they have enough money to build such a thing, instead of feeding the hungry....FML However, Ohio is REALLY not that bad. At least you're out of Michigan. =D Seems to me that most of you are ignorant about the state of Ohio. Be nice. Ohio picks our Presidents. ;D

SRC does all kinds of humanitarian work - they support a Brazilian Orphanage, they support and provide services for Prison Ministry, they spread the word of God to children all across the southern Ohio area and further, and they supply funding and support for the Darlene Bishop Home for Life - I think you should educate yourself before making a decision to dislike a church

Cops are always harsher on out-of-state drivers. 8) I don't know about other states, but in Florida, the cops between the counties REALLY love to get you if you're from another county also... so that was completely out of spite.
