Show off

Today, I had a test in orchestra class, which I'd practiced over 30 hours for. After I played my part, which I thought I did very well, my teacher asked how long I'd practiced. Trying to show off, I said, "Oh, just 30 minutes." My teacher said, "It shows; that was terrible." She was serious. FML

i guess pracriced is the new word for terrible practice

If you told your teacher how long you really practiced, it may have impressed her that you worked so hard. But, no, you didn't.

my orchestra teacher told me I'm worthless and make our orchestra sound terrible, I feel your pain. SOME orchestra teachers are not human

I'm a professional drummer for a band, and I practise a mass variation of genre's for anything up to 4 hours a day, overplaying the same thing will only highlight mistakes you have potentially made and also gives you cockiness, which evidently happened to you

This is why you can't show off. And if your struggling or your teacher thinks your struggling. Ask for help. It can't be that bad.

You should've stick with the truth. But FYL anyway

What you should have practiced is how to spell practice.

Actually don’t know how this fml was able to get past the admin team with such an obviously spelling mistake?
