lol I love cats but trust me they can very easily get mad at you. It they feel they are being ignored they get upset. I have seen them pee on shoes and other things to express their displeasure.

Never buy a pet for someone, even if it's your SO, spouse or parent. Unless they WANT one and there have been plans for one. A pet for a gift, especially unexpected, is absolutely terrible. The only one who loses is the animal. Why would Responsibility for another living thing be a gift if it isn't wanted?
