Today, I found out that my dog likes to howl when he hears sirens. I live next to the fire station. FML

So obviously the easiest thing to do is to train the firemen to not sound their alarm! Definitely don't put your dog through any training!

Mine howls to sirens too, but I think it's the cutest thing. I love it. I imagine he's trying to help out by lending his voice.

Actually I think that the dog is howling because the blaring siren hurt his poor ears. Animals have many, MANY times better hearing than us humans. He's trying to drown out the painful sirens by howling on top of it. If only there was earplugs for dogs... I feel really sorry for your dog, OP. :(
