Talk to your boyfriend about his constant chatting at night time takes away valuable sleeping time, which you need to be refreshed so you can work, instead of being exhausted, which can cause performance to drop. If he doesn't listen or just doesn't understand, leave the bed and tell him you're going to sleep on the couch because he won't shut up. Hopefully that would work as he'll eventually understand that bed time is bed time, not talking-the-hind-legs-off-a-horse-time. Another idea would be to constantly talk when he next has work and you don't, that should get your point across. If he moans that you're keeping him awake by constantly talking, remind him that this is exactly what he does, and if he doesn't like it, then he shouldn't do it himself.

There's actually a trick to make people stop snoring, but it's hard to explain through text: You need to move your tongue next to either side of your teeth inside your mouth while it is closed, suck in the cheek from the same side and then release it quickly so that it makes a sound. If you try it on a snoring person they will stop or may also wake up. I thought I'd at share it, haven't really seen this elsewhere on the internet, but it works for me.
