#41 I'm happy to say you are very wrong. Go to a big party-school college town and hit up one of the dorms. Ask 10 people where the best place to buy alcohol is if you're underage. Some places will let anyone with a piece of paper that says "I'm 21" buy alcohol, and I've bought alcohol at places like these during busy times and not even been ID'd.
#2, no one says YDI..that's like a lame abbreviation people are trying to use now adays. And to the poster..that blows but you should have at least looked at what you were buying xD
@43, I live in Madison, WI. That a big enough party-school town? There are plenty of RESTAURANTS where you aren't carded. Liquor or grocery stores? Definitely not.
@41 It'd be hard to be more wrong. Pretty much every group of teens knows a place that won't card, and it doesn't have to be a college town. Hell, I live in rural NJ and we have our local no-card place. Also, restaurants and stores that aren't chains very, very rarely card. It makes them money. Of course, it gets easier as you go into big cities. The odds of someone carding you at a small liquor store in New York are so low that as long as you don't look like a small child, you can get wasted. And this is especially true with bars and women: bars want female patrons because it's good for business, so women pretty much never get carded, again, as long as they don't look like little kids. I was once with friends, and one of my girlfriends liked a song, so she ran into a small club. My guy friend tried to follow her and the bouncer immediately stopped him and carded him. I can assure you neither of them look 21.
I'm pretty sure no matter what state you live in you still need to be carded for non-alcoholic beer. I don't believe this one bit. Restaurants are one thing, but many store cash registers don't even allow the purchase to be preformed without the validation of an ID.
@46, to be fair, my experience might be based off where I live. Fake IDs are rampant and can usually be acquired for less than $50. People here are much more likely to use a fake than hope the place doesn't card. Still, I find it highly dubious that "stores that aren't chains very, very rarely card". I've never seen it happen. Sure, they might make SOME money off it, but the shitstorm they'd be in when they got caught doesn't seem worth it.
hahahahhahahah @ #5
fun fact: you could've gotten away with alcohol too, because they have to card for non-alc beer too, since it still has an alcohol content of

YDI for trying to buy beer underage AND YDI because you somehow thought that would impress a girl.
