Smoke 'em while you can

By OuttaNowhere81 - 15/05/2009 04:05 - United States

Today, I was smoking a cigarette in my backyard while my parents were out, because I'm not allowed to smoke. While smoking, my parents came home unexpectedly. In a rush, I flicked it over the fence, and it landed in my neighbor's hair. It was still lit. FML

That's what you get for smoking, nitwit. I hope you at least apologized to your poor neighbor.

YDI. I don't care if people smoke or not, just be responsible.

alright, on a serious note... I guarantee that at least 15% of you little teeny-bopper "smokers are jokers" posters on here will pick up the habit. Back when I was 13-14 I had such a strong standpoint on no smoking or drugs or alcohol, I told everyone that if they did that then they were idiots. I am now 20, I smoke cigarettes on a regular basis and I do smoke marjuana from time to time as well as drink. I am responsible about the latter two and don't drive under the influence because I know how quickly bad things can happen. But until you kids grow up and actually experience some of the things you are so strongly against, I cannot and will not take any of your views seriously. Now as for the boatiebanter vs. glockjaw argument.. boatiebanter you are a moron, and glockjaw shoots down every one of your arguments you put up. So I think it's time that you just shut up, accept your loss, and crawl back into your oxygen-only cave so that you don't catch one more whiff of cigarette smoke, causing yourself to go into a panic attack and start rambling on about nothingness on a public forum again.

omg this is ridiculous. Yes, smoking causes cancer. Yes, the poster was dumb for just flickering their cigarette into their neighbor's yard. We all get that. However, I had a relative from lung cancer and they never smoked in their life nor did their spouse. Smoking is their choice. Get over it. Drinking his better? Then you'd just be harming your liver and possibly endangering other lives if you're dumb enough to drive. According to all the preachers here, though, apparently all non-smokers are perfect. Flicking a cigarette will cause a wildfire? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Okay. You should see all the lit cigarettes I've seen being tossed by friends/family and NOTHING has ever caught on fire. This person was in a rush from their parents coming home [though I do agree on respecting your parents rule. Go for a walk down the street to have your cigarette] and didn't have time to put up the cigarette. Though I guess dropping it and giving it a quick stomp on the ground isn't that time consuming either.

smoking is 100% their choice. it's just a stupid one, which is y we are all saying YDI you moron. and smoking isn't the only cause for lung cancer, but you are very likely to get it if you do, your little distraction with your relative is a smokers sad defense to a lifetime of wasted money, health, and attractiveness. that's right, I I see someone that is completely beautiful, then see them smoking, I wouldn't even consider a possibility, because that's disgusting.

For all you people who think that smoking is a crime and that we deserve to go to hell for it I think you'd be better off visiting this site on a daily basis: www.bmylife.com. That way you can go read about people just like you who think that everybody around them should live by the same standards and morals. Yes, smoking is bad so if you don't like it then don't do it. We're not blowing it in your faces are we? This argument is ******* retarded because for every stand that a non-smoker makes there is another completely opposite stand that a smoker can make. It's a circular argument. Just **** off and let the guy smoke if he wants. He probably did deserve it but he doesn't deserve all this bullshit.

Smoking isn't a crime, I just don't appreciate smelling it when I am forced to walk through a group of smokers, as an example. You can do whatever you want.. but personally I think smoking is pointless.. and we are all entitled to our own opinions, aren't we?

Another reason not to smoke. Isnt it obvious your parents are concerned about your HEALTH? They wouldnt be so bad about it if they didnt CARE ABOUT YOU. And you obviously trying so hard to ignore their efforts. Congrats, your a loser. #95- But they /do/ blow it in peoples faces. You can smell it a mile away, and the smell gets stuck in everything.

Smoking DOES calm the smoker. I personally am not addicted, but I enjoy lighting up a cig once in a while when I'm with friends or when me and my mom get in a fight. Sometimes we'll smoke together until we resolve the problem. For me, it's a "bonding experience." I know, it's not the best one, but there are worse ones out there. I, for one thing, would NEVER smoke weed. It just doesn't go with my morals. Personally, I can't stand the high horse liberals who complain about me smoking. I'm sure they've done worse things in their lives. Smoking doesn't make someone a bad person. My mom used to go to confession with her priest and they would smoke on his front porch during it. Yes, smokers know the health complications that come from smoking. Some, if not most of you high school freshmen who are all against it now, will eventually pick it up during college, or later. It doesn't mean you will be doing it for the rest of your lives. Shit, most of you will be out smoking weed thinking it's a good alternative. That's not any better, you dumbasses. What really bugs me is the average overweight American who complains about smoking. Back in the old days, we had less fat people, but there were more smokers. Being fat and eating at Mickey D's all the time has its health complications too, in case you didn't know. While I die of lung cancer, you'll be dying of a heart attack, dipshit. Personally, I'd rather live life to the fullest and die at 80 than stay home, be safe, avoid risks, and live a boring life until I die at 104.

You sooo deserved it. Quit.

It's not that easy #100. You're an ignorant, high horse liberal that I mentioned in my previous post. I wish I could somehow get you ******* addicted to nicotine and then tell you all to quit. Then we'll see how easy it is. How about you quit drinking, jackin off, or any other habit you may have. Even if you manage to, quitting smoking is harder than that, because it's physically addicting. Most habits are only psychological.

lol. it's that easy to not start. quitting is the smart choice. maybe it isn't easy, just like paying off 5 maxxed out credit cards isn't easy, but it's the same idea. your dumbass got into the situation, it's hard to get out, but you have to do it or resign yourself to a life that is shittier than it would have been otherwise.

Boatiebanter, you're responding to personal insults on fmylife in full paragraphs. Congrats, I bet your long, healthy life of responding to trolls on the internet is going to be a lot more enjoyable than my 80 years of not ******** myself over web posts. If that's not evidence that smoking calms you down then I don't know what is.
