Today, I was in an exam and was chewing the end of my pen, stuck on a question. My mouth filled up with ink. I wasn't allowed to leave, so I had to sit for another hour with a foul-tasting blue tongue and a half-working pen. FML

Today, I was chewing my pen while I was paying attention to my teacher. I chewed a bit too hard, and something broke off, so I casually looked at my pen. It was unharmed. One of my front teeth had broken off. Everyone in class, including the teacher, had to see it before I could call my dentist. FML

Today, I got the hiccups during an exam. I wasn't allowed to leave to get a drink of water, so I had to sit there and take my test while hiccuping violently. The teacher ended up sending me to the hall and ripping up my test for "distracting the other students". FML

Today, I was sitting at the computer when this really annoying fly kept landing on the keyboard. After a while, I took the bottom of a pen and squished it. Twenty minutes later I absentmindedly started chewing at the bottom of the pen. FML

Today, while giving speech in class, I choked on my own spit and had a coughing fit while everyone stared at me intently. When I finally regained my composure, my teacher told me my time was up and to sit down. I hadn't even got finished the first paragraph. FML

YDI, perhaps not so much for chewing your pen but for obviously not bringing along EXTRA pens, which I believe they specifically advise you to do.

How can you not be allowed to leave when you have ink in your mouth. Why are you such a victim that you let ANYONE dictate what you can and can not do? People are so brainwashed. Of course you can leave and if they say anything they could have a lawsuit. Know your rights. DANG.

It's clearly not life threatening. A lot of places will only let you leave tests when you are done your test.

i did this before. with one of those pilot pens with the Fat ink thing. I was just blowing on the end of the ink and seeign if it would come out of the tip, just playing around in bible/history class in 8th grade, and I sucked in on accident and it went ight in my mouth. make me instantly sick and I grabbed a bunch of paper and spit it all in the paper and ddidnt say anything cause I was embarassed. i sat there in class feeling soo sick and shuqfggf eweee o god I hate thinking about it.

I have a friend who chews pens, has actually chewed through the plastic of pens... but never through to the ink. He currently has a pen of mine that is thoroughly chewed. I dunno if I want it back or not...
