Today, after 2 years of searching, I finally have a job that I love. Now I'm probably going to lose it because I started having sex with one of my managers, and our coworkers are starting to catch on. They caught on pretty much the day I told him that we should stop having sex so we wouldn't lose our jobs. FML

Today, after I had an excellent one night stand with a guy yesterday, I saw him at work. He was a client my boss was trying to talk into a deal. The guy recognised me and accused my boss of sending me to seduce him into signing the contract. The deal fell apart and my boss is livid with me. FML

I don't think that you should restrain yourself from mixing sex with the workplace. I just think you need move laterally, rather than higher in the hierarchy.

never really a bad idea to sleep with someone above you since it can give you leverage... until you're higher up than they are, i guess, but then that applies even more for people on your level to begin with. and you can totally get this guy in some deeeeeep shit for this if it makes your workplace a "hostile environment" lol
