You can tell the majority of the people on this site are little kids and/or do-gooders who live in an idealistic world away from reality where mice look like Mickey and Jerry. Its a ******* mouse (even if it was a pet, in which case anyone would feel awful for killing it without knowing)... any homeowner can tell you that mice eat anything and everything, from the insulation and drywall to the wiring in your car in the garage. Not to mention they shit everywhere and mouse shit can actually kill you. The amount of damage "cute little rodents" can do is unbelievable until you see it yourself. A little dose of reality for you people--in nature, its kill or be killed. Do you think your cat gives a shit when eating a mouse alive and kicking trying to escape? No, but guess what? The mouse is dead anyways, and probably lived a lot longer and felt a lot more than a quick stomp. IF you were the size of a mouse, and a mouse was the size of you, do you think it would think twice about killing you? It would probably eat you alive (and all the cats too). Does anyone here think that a mousetrap is any less cruel? It doesn't always break its neck instantly, sometimes they get caught other ways and die slowly and painfully. Not an improvement. And my personal favorite are the people who think they should capture rodents and other pest animals humanely, then take them to the country and release them. Guess what assholes? They eat our houses in the country just as much as yours in the city! And we don't want them either! So we keep lots of cats around and your precious mice die anyways. Wanna keep em alive? Do it at your place. For the record, I wouldn't stomp a mouse but I don't judge the OP for it either. I'm sure she feels bad for killing a pet but she didn't know. Everyone else who thinks killing a mouse is the end of the world---give your ******* head a shake!

Wow. I wish I could do that! When I see a mouse I scream so loud and jump. Then have a huge panic attack and then finally, try to get my heart on regular rate again. Now they know you're brave.
