Today, I was babysitting a five year-old boy. Somehow the topic of relationships came up, and he asked me if I had a boyfriend. When I told him that I was single, he got all excited and asked if he could be my boyfriend. It would have been cute… except he was the first guy to ever ask me out. I'm 18. FML

don't worry about it! a great guy will come along one day, no need in wasting your time on useless guys anyways. do it once, do it right.

I know a 30 year old that's looking....... Tell the kid you'll check him out in 13 years. This is for all you girls I have been asked out by more women than I have asked out by a very large margin.

awww that's so sweet!!!! although a little sad... but sweet!!

Sorry but I got you beat. 20 next month, never been asked out. Now that's a bit my fault because being a theatre major I only really hang out with gay guys. I've gotten the "If I was straight I'd go out with you." line way too much. So I feel for you, I really do.

i shall fix that! *gets on one knee* will you marry me?

Aww, that's adorable! Girls are like cherries on a cherry tree. The guys always go for the ones on the bottom, because they are the easiest to get and they are afraid of climbing to the top and getting hurt. And then the cherries on top wonder what's wrong with them! But there's nothing wrong with them. The courageous guy just hasn't come along yet who has the guts to climb to the top! Just wait--he will come, and he will be so lucky when he finally gets to you!

that's so full of bull, it's hillarious. Like a story a mom would tell her ugly daughter just to cheer her up.

Awww that's adorable! haha and don't sweat the boy thing - I know someone who didn't get her first boyfriend until she was 22, and now they are engaged :) Seriously, most middle school or high school relationships don't work out anyway. I know it probably doesn't seem like it, but 18 is actually really young - you have sooo much of your life still ahead of you. Seriously.

Hey, children are the most honest - and children can tell attractive women from unattractive ones. So I'd say, it's quite a compliment! Maybe it's a sign, get out there and hit on some guys.
