Today, I discovered a drawer full of chocolates, cookies and baked goods in my house. When I asked my sister what the drawer was, she told me that my mom thought it would be a good idea to hide the fattening foods from me. My entire family had known about the food drawer, except me. FML

They may think they're being "caring", but all I'm hearing is "insensitive". If they cared so much then why is the stuff being brought into the house at all? Or at least left/stored in an area where the poster could stumble across it? That's just f**ked.

#4, thats funny as hell. As for the poster, I know how that is. I was 285 in HS, got down to 185 in college and am back up 215, trying to lose weight now. Weight is a tough battle.

You're all overlooking that there's a very real possibility OP isn't fat. I know an average-weight chick who isn't even allowed in my house any more because she ate all our food. From a religious standpoint, gluttony and greed are sins. From a moral standpoint, greed is wrong and she obviously doesn't pay for her own food. Her mom probably hid it so everyone else could have some, whether the food was making OP fat or unhealthy or not. Any way u look at it, YDI
