well sh*t son, I never said i was a GOOD christian. i said i was a KNOWLEDGEABLE christian. if you dont wanna follow the bible, like i said, idrc thats your deal. i just try to alleviate some of the guilt of the way i live my life by tryin to help others see the light once in awhile. kinda hypocritical, yeah i know. get the hell off my case. at least i tried. pce

haha thats so funny! but i feel really sorry for you :( geeze, the whole religion thing is a bit... harsh. im a christian, and i must say im offended by some of the things said. by atheists AND christians. my best friend is a gay guy, and i dont see anything wrong with it, and i know im not a great christian for it, but im a typical teenage girl. i do drink, i swear and all this other shit. but i still consider myself a christian, its the beliefs. not ALL christians are weird and evil. i admit that there a hell of a lot that give other christians a bad name, but not all are terrible, really.

#143, You really have no right to make a claim like that. Just as no Christian has the right to put all athiests into one catergory, you have no right to do so with Christians. I am a Christian, and I totally agree with you when you say that in general Christians are judgmental hypocrites, and totally annoying. But not all of them are like that. I'm a Christian and I have no problem with you being an athiest. I'm not going to force my beliefs on you. You can believe what you believe, and I can believe what I believe. I happen to be a Christian that does not in any way hate gays, or atheists, or anyone else. And I'm totally cool with pre-marital sex. In fact, my boyfriend and I have a pretty amazing sex-life. Oh, and he's also athiest. And I'm okay with that. And how the **** are Christians lowering the American IQ? That is the most nieve, ignorant comment I've read so far.

1) haha sucks for the poster, I'd have dotted her eyes. 2) wow everyone debating religion on here is a hypocrite. Atheist's are religious too. You are a dumbass if you think otherwise. The problem with ANY and all religion is the group of people who take it to it's most extreme. Many athiests are just as judgemental and forceful with their beliefs as the fundie Christians. Furthermore, many religions are open to interpretation. The Bible is written as the single biggest example of symbolic lit. Not everything in it is supposed to be believed verbatim. Religion as a whole is a farce. It was designed to instill an otherworldly fear in the commoner and has blown up into holy wars and debates on message boards not even meant for it. I make it my religion to adhere to my morals and live life to the fullest and not give a flying **** what others think.
