pyridium. that shit is wicked. it can stain your contacts orange, you can "sweat orange"... the medicine is excreted through all bodily fluids. I'm a pharmacy tech and I honestly have never heard of it causing involuntary urine flow. Must be one of those quirky one in a million side effects.
1) Ever heard of different people reacting differently to medication? You're an idiot. and 2)YTI? You're an idiot
you're sick thnks for ruining my fav. drink for me
i just recovered from a UTI too. ): ): and yes. bright orange. pats comfortingly.
it's bed-sheet art! he'll cherish it forever, I'm sure.
you know when you've been tangoed :)
UTIs suck. That's why you wear a pad to prevent leakage and making a huge mess.
I've had a million UTIs and I wouldn't wish one on my worst enemy. Take over the counter pyridium (uristat or azo) and ask your doctor for Cipro or Bactrim. They work really well. As for the uhhh leaking, I would wear a pad if I were you :) I usually just fold up toilet paper though. Anyway, that def sucks and I hope you feel better soon =)
only hope that the cipro wouldn't spark up a yeast infection flare... that hurt a hell of a lot more than the uti i had :(
I've had UTI's before and I've never had to get medication for it, and it never lasts longer than a few hours if you're able to do this one thing: soak in a tub. Soak in a tub of hot/warm water for about an hour or two and drink a couple of glasses of cranberry juice (100% juice, not a juice cocktail) and the UTI should be cleared up within a few hours.
Sitting in the tub when you have a UTI is a TERRIBLE idea. In fact, taking baths can CAUSE them as any bacteria in the water has the chance to travel up your urethra. Also, don't ignore the symptoms, you NEED medication. It's a bacterial infection and doesn't just "go away" on it's own like a cold (which is caused by a virus). Just because the symptoms go away, doesn't mean the infection has!
Took the words right out of my mouth! Bubble bath + shortness of a womens urethra + proximity to bacteria ridden anus... KABLAMMO UTI.
Yeah UTI's are PAINFUL, and if you don't get them treated they can turn into a kidney infection, which is way MORE painful.
Not to forget that if you don't treat it quick after it spreads to the kidneys, you can end up with permanent kidney damage. Take it from me.... (would have gone to the doctor immediately but I was between paychecks and uninsured) -_- UTI can clear up on their own if you treat them IMMEDIATELY, but like 90% of the time you need to go on antibiotics. Also, they're never for "just a few hours," that pain is called you drinking too much acidic junk.

well orange glad you didn't shit yourself?
That is highly unfortunate. But hey, at least you've got raver urine!! :D
