Today, at work, I watched a man throw up in his hands, dump the contents on his plate, then eat the things it "didn't touch." I had to wash his plate. FML

I fail to see how this makes any difference to you. First of all, did he actually "throw" up what he swallowed? I doubt it. He probably chewed up his food and then felt something nasty and spit it out and put it in a corner. Second of all, even if he did actually throw it up, have some freaking balls and just wash it off with water before actually touching that spot. wuss.

Be grateful you don't have to worry whether your next meal will be in a couple of days. Food isn't certain for a lot of people, why is it a problem if this person wanted to salvage what he could?

OP works at a chinese food place. Chinese food is expensive. If they were that worried about when they would get their next meal they should have gone to the supermarket, where they could get probably 3 or 4 times the food for the same price.
