Stiched up

Today, I found a notebook my 12-year-old sister had been doodling in. Turns out the "doodles" were poems full of obscenities and descriptions of how she wanted to hurt herself. When I showed it to my mom, she accused me of writing the notebook myself to frame my sister. FML

Your mom is out of this world. This is not a thing to make jokes about.

I hope you didn't let the subject end there, OP, and got your sis the help she needs!

OP if your mom won't listen tell someone at your sister's school and tell them you showed your mom and she ignored it they have to do something about it by law and they can force your mother to take action

Good for OP, fail on their mom. Unless the sister is trying to get attention, this is pretty serious and needs to be addressed by someone.

Sometimes family just doesn't understand. Don't worry OP, keep trying to get help for your sister.

please don't let your mom's ignorance keep you from getting your sister help! show the note book to the counselors at her school, or something! if she's serious, then she NEEDs help! if she's doing it for attention, then she still needs help, just a different kind.

It was brave and generous of you to show that notebook to your mom, OP. As others have said, the school counselor (yours or your sister's) or you family doctor needs to see this and hear what your mom said. Google the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for help for all of your family with this. By your username, it sounds like your family has a lot of problems, and you're the one stuck coping with them (I've been there). Best of luck, and be sure to take care of yourself, too.

F your life and your sisters life. Your mom's a bitch.

Your sister does need help. You need to get it for her.

Time to get the handwriting expert to prove it wasn't you

Wouldn't she be able to tell the handwriting is hers? You're a good sibling for telling your mom, your sister needs help. I would find another family member, or her guidance counselor if you can get in touch with them.
