Stiched up

Today, I found a notebook my 12-year-old sister had been doodling in. Turns out the "doodles" were poems full of obscenities and descriptions of how she wanted to hurt herself. When I showed it to my mom, she accused me of writing the notebook myself to frame my sister. FML

Your mom is out of this world. This is not a thing to make jokes about.

I hope you didn't let the subject end there, OP, and got your sis the help she needs!

Hey, that's really none of your buisness. I would hate you if I was in her place.

You shouldn't care if your mom is mad at you. You should care about helping your sister bro.

Are you really that stupid? I'm sorry for being rude, but for ****'s sake! It doesn't matter if the sister doesn't want anyone to know. Hell, nobody with depression wants people to know they're suffering! That's all part of being depressed. But as a good sibling, you don't talk to them about it. You go tell someone who can help. If you saw your sibling had a weird looking mark on their back, would you just sit there and say, "well, this is showing all signs of cancer, but I'm just gonna sit here and not tell anyone because it might upset my sibling." No, you'd drag your sibling's ass to the damn doctor and get the mark checked out. Same thing with depression!

Thats what happened to me when i told my mom and show her my sisters arm that was full of scars because she was harming herself. My sister then turned it around and said i had been scratching her at night. Guess who my mom believed?

It really depends on who the person in question (in this case, his sister) has a closer relationship with.

I think it's kind of innocent how people think calling a number will save someone from years of planning there death.. I completely understand the good intention, but if I was (and have been) on the floor crying my eyes out trying to kill myself and someone told me to call a number.. I would probably move faster.. I would show the notebook to the school counselor before this becomes permanent :( and try to get her a professional to talk to

I used to know someone like that... Your parents should take that seriously
